Choristers in concert in Casterton.

The boys are taking part in a concert at Holy Trinity Casteron (near Kirkby Lonsdale) on SATURDAY 10th SEPTEMBER at 7.30pm with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir. The Concert will be conducted by Ian Wells and accompanied by Professor Ian Tracey. As well as joining with the RLPC the boys will sing a number of items on their own. In this Festival Eucharist for Trinity Sunday the combined choirs will be performing the world premiere of The Trinity Mass composed by Steve Burtonwood. The choir will sing the Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Benedictus and Agnus Dei. The congregation is invited to sing the Creed to the setting by John Merbeke. The choir will also give the first performance of Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty by Nicholas Tudor. We are delighted to welcome Professor Ian Tracey who is accompanying this service.
